Kurt Roosen, Managing Director & Lead Consultant

 

A Fellow of the British Computing Society (BCS), the Chartered Institute for IT and a past Chair of their Governing Council, Kurt has a career spanning 38 years in IT at varied roles around the world. For the last three years he has acted as Head of Innovation for the Digital Agency of the Isle of Man Government but previous to that has been a Board Director of the Isle of Man Post Office, CEO of the Manx ICT Association (MICTA) the trade body for ICT on the Isle of Man and held senior IT positions in three banks. Kurt has also been an entrepreneur, starting numerous businesses using ground breaking technology in the systems management and telecoms space, the latter culminating in holding a patent on IP Initiated Telecoms before such systems were launched by the big telecoms infrastructure providers, such as Cisco and Lucent who now refer to this as "prior art".
